Why do I need to turn off my wipers when entering the tunnel?

To prevent any potential damage to your wiper blades or mechanism, it is crucial to deactivate your wipers before entering the car wash tunnel. The movement and pressure exerted by the cleaning equipment can potentially catch or bend the wipers, resulting in breakage or malfunction. By turning off your wipers, you prioritize their safety throughout the wash process and minimize the risk of costly repairs or replacements.

If your vehicle is equipped with an automated wiper system, we strongly recommend deactivating it while inside the wash to ensure the best possible outcome.

Please be aware that any damage to engaged wipers while inside the car wash tunnel is not the responsibility of Soapy Joe's. For additional information regarding our liability policy, please click here.
